About Herzliya Cultural Group

Following some 10 years of Bible Study, the Herzliya Cultural Group (HCG) was established in 2015 by a few volunteers to provide a varied range of cultural activities for English speaking Residents and Visitors in the country. Initially our lectures were held at the 7 Stars Residence in Herzliya Pituach, but due to the Corona epidemic were then held on Zoom only. We now continue on Zoom, with some lectures being held at both 7 Stars Residence and also on Zoom, as are advertised.

The lectures cover a wide range of topics including religion, history, politics, economics, music and the arts. We have been able to secure many outstanding Speakers & Personalities as well as numerous “first timers” bringing new and challenging topics. A number of earlier programs can be seen on the Previous Lecture Programs Page. Our Lectures are usually on Thursday mornings at 11am.

From time to time we also arrange regular trips to places of interest.

Due to its growth, in March 2019, HCG became a registered Amuta No 580679132 as HERZLIYA CULTURAL GROUP (R.A.) being a non-profit making organization with its objectives being the provision of cultural events in English.

The current elected Members of the Amuta have overall responsibility for its affairs, from amongst whom a Management Team is appointed to handle its day-to-day operation.

There is also an Advisory Board to the Amuta, one of whom is the President.
