About HCG -
Herzliya Cultural Group

HCG – the Herzliya Cultural Group was founded in 2015 by a small group of dedicated volunteers, following nearly a decade of successful Bible study programs. Their vision was to create a vibrant hub of cultural, intellectual, and social activities for English-speaking residents and visitors— a vision that continues to flourish today.

In our early years, our main activity was our weekly Thursday activities lecture which were held at the 7 Stars Residence in Herzliya Pituach. During the Covid period, HCG successfully transitioned to Zoom, enabling us to reach an even wider audience. Today, we are pleased to offer a program of lectures, other presentations and outings and other events.

More than just Lectures

In addition to our regular lecture series, HCG also presents Beyond the Headlines, organizes outings and excursions to places of cultural and historical interest, offering members opportunities to learn, explore, and connect socially and holds an Annual Charity Concert.

Our Organization

Reflecting its steady growth, in March 2019, HCG became a registered Amuta (Non-Profit Organization):
HERZLIYA CULTURAL GROUP (R.A.) – Amuta No. 580679132

Our mission is the provision of cultural events in English, delivered at the highest standard and accessible to a broad audience.

The Amuta is overseen by its elected members, who hold overall responsibility for governance. A Management Team is appointed to oversee day-to-day operations, supported by an Advisory Board, which includes the President.

An Executive Director manages ongoing administrative activities.
